Beste RolandD,
Online heb ik het stappenplan gevolgd voor het gebruik van de icecat productinformatie.
Echter wat ik ook probeer en welke instellingen ik ook verander het wil maar niet lukken.
Joomla 3.7.4 + CSVI Pro 7.2.3 + CSVI addon_virtuemart 7.2.0

We hebben een actieve account bij icecat.
En in het "Dashbord" netjes alles ingevuld zoals gebruiksnaam en wachtwoord,
Download ID, Domeinnaam en nog niet voor NL gekozen maar standaard INT.
Zelfs met het gebruik van gzip uit & load type single, zie ik deze foutmelding : COM_CSVI_ICECAT_INDEX_FILE_NOT_FOUND
En bij alles op vol automatisch : String could not be parsed as XML

I would appreciate if you can post your queries in English as the forum uses English as primary language and i don't speak or write Dutch :) .

Reading your message using translator i can understand that you are having issue with ICECat import. The error you posted is when CSVI is not able to find the ICECat index files. Can you check the folder set as ICEcat indexes path in CSVI maintenance page for Load ICECat indexes does not have any old files? If there are any, remove them and run the ICECat import again. See if it helps. You can also have a look at import ICECat product information document for more details.

I'm sorry, i tought that CSV Improved is a dutch company.

I would like to use the icecat option in CSVI Pro, and followed these steps :

Unfortunatly every attempt failed.
Joomla 3.7.4 + CSVI Pro 7.2.3 + CSVI addon_virtuemart 7.2.0

I have an active account for Icecat.
And filled in every item in the "Dashbord" like user and password, even Download ID and Domain.
For the icecat strings (index URL + Manufacturer URL) i have left them as default.
Then we go to "Maintenance" load icecat indexes:
Using everything as default the output is : String could not be parsed as XML
Using the options gzip off + load type single, the output is : COM_CSVI_ICECAT_INDEX_FILE_NOT_FOUND

At first i tought that the default strings (index URL + Manufacturer URL) were outdated.
But the are correct, and in a browser accessible.
What am i doing wrong ?

Yes i followed your suggestion but without succes.
The folder had no files in them.

I also tried to download de index files manualy.
But after i did and uploaded it to the tmp/com_csvi folder
CSVI Pro does not recognize these files

Hello,
Can you check in the Dashboard >> Options >> ICEcat settings if you have set to use the Full ICEcat? The full version is only available to paid members. So if you have set it to Yes change to No and try loading ICECat data. Once again make sure the credentials you have given for ICECat are correct.

Hello,
If you are still having issue with ICECat loading, apply the patch file attached with this post and then download and upload the ICECat files manually to the ICECat indexes location as in the Import ICECat product information document and then try loading the ICECat indexes from CSVI maintenance menu.
