Hello,

is there a way to import multiple files from a FTP-Server as we can do it with the "Load from Server" option?

Would be great!

Kind regards,

Teresa

Hello Teresa,
You can zip the multiple files and put it on ftp. You can then use the zip file name in CSVI template FTP settings, CSVI unpacks the archive and imports them.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Tharuna,

thanks for your reply! However it doesn't helps me.

I need the same import as with load from server, because we have e.g. every 15 minutes a new file with different name:

Is there a way to solve this?

Kind regards,

Teresa

Hello Tharuna,

the following error comes when installing the pkg_csvi_7.1.0_pro.zip:

CSVI cannot be installed because your database setup is corrupt. Something is wrong with your csvi_settings table. I have tried to read the old configuration from this table but both the new as the old database field do not exist. The suggestion is to uninstall CSVI and remove all tables that start with csvi_ from your database. Now that the database has been cleaned, you can do a clean installation.

Uninstall before doesn't help too!

Kind regards,

Teresa

Hello Tharuna,

after removing the csvi tables the install works. However when updating available fields, the following error comes up:

Error
Table 'sekt_j3x_test.#__fields' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT `title` FROM `#__fields` WHERE `state` = 1 AND `context` = 'com_content.categories'
The list of available fields is out-of-date. Update the list to ensure you have all fields available.

Kind regards,

Teresa

Hello Teresa,
Along with uninstall, Can you also remove the tables starting with #__csvi from your database and then do a fresh installation? Please check if you can continue after that.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

You dont seem to be running Joomla 3.7 version and so there is a missing table. Can you update your Joomla and see if it works?

Hello Tharuna,

a new error comes now:

Error
CSVI Addons you have installed are outdated. You need to update your addons to the same version as CSVI extension. In the extension manager you can see the current list of adddons and their versions. You can update the addons from the Update page in the Joomla Extension Manager.

I used the new plg_csviaddon_virtuemart_csvi_7.1.0-1, however it isn't zipped - please check it.

Thanks,

Teresa

Are you running this on your test site? I hope there are no other addons installed other than the ones i sent. Can you send me the test site access and also db access?

Yes just noticed that by mistake the VirtueMart plugin was not zipped in the package i sent.

Hello Teresa,
The packages i sent you were test packages and the version were not updated in them and was still 7.1.0 instead of 7.2.0. But the package install was entered as 7.2.0 in Joomla schemas table. This was causing the error to show. I have fixed this for now. Can you test the import from ftp folder and see if it works?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Tharuna,

during last tests I found an issue:

1. If in a template "Load from Server" with the appropriate path is selected e.g var/hosts/site/httpdocs etc. and I switch to "Load from FT-Server" always the path from load to server is used. I need to delete the "old path" first, then switching to FTP-Server works fine.

2. Even though version 7.2.0 is installed, in the footer of component "CSVI Pro 7.1.0 | Copyright (C) 2006 - 2017 RolandD Cyber Produksi" is indicated.

Kind regards,

Teresa

Honestly saying i could not replicate this issue. I tried setting load from server path, saved the template and then changed to load from ftp. Load from server still has the path but i could see file read from ftp. May be cache issue. Do you see it happening all the time?

2. Even though version 7.2.0 is installed, in the footer of component "CSVI Pro 7.1.0 | Copyright (C) 2006 - 2017 RolandD Cyber Produksi" is indicated.

As said earlier those were test packages. This will be corrected with original packages coming with the release of 7.2.0 version.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
