Resolved How to ignore ordering on Vmart product import?

Every time I import/update my products, I have to go back to the category & reorder them.

Anyway to avoid this?

Hello,
Any time I import products to update them. I do not import the "product_ordering" field.
So, it sets product_ordering for the product to 0

You need to use pordering field to set order for products. If this field is not in import file then CSVI sets it as 0.

I am so sorry for responding so late.

What I mean is.

Any time I import products to update them. I do not import the "product_ordering" field.
So, it sets product_ordering for the product to 0

You mean reorder the products in the category or reorder the categories? If it is the former, have a look at the Import VirtueMart categories and product order documentation.
