Resolved How to execute cron task?

I try next command to execute:
http://vuemart.local/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php%20--help
http://xn--80aaahb6abvxkb2a.xn--p1ai/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php%20--help

all of them gives error:

Not Found

The requested URL /administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php --help was not found on this server.

Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at xn--80aaahb6abvxkb2a.xn--p1ai Port 80


Commands:
http://vuemart.local/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php
http://xn--80aaahb6abvxkb2a.xn--p1ai/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php

gives a blank screen


My purpose is starting import process on site from my computer, using 1C:Enterprise 8 or windows comand line.

I do not understand the cron jobs launching mechanism from my computer.
I'm trying to enter a command in the browser of your proposed syntax, but get an error.
I have an ERP application in which the csv file is formed and is located at http media server.
I need to run imports cron job from that ERP application.
My ERP application is the 1C:Enterprise 8. It's like Visual Basic and has a similar syntax.

What application I have to use for executing cron task?
That I do wrong?

P.S. Sorry for my english. I studied it for a long time.

Hello,

Your English is fine, you must have been a good student :)

To execute the cron task, you need to run it as a cron task and not via the browser. Have a look at the Setting up a cron job in CSVI 6

Since the cron job will only run from the command line, it will give a blank screen because nothing will be executed.

Roland, I read instruction several times, but i dont understand is it possible or not to start cron task programmatically from local computer on site that works on host.

Perhaps, if the writing of intermediate php script to run cron task with command string from your instruction.

I don't know how to use php programming.

I'll be grateful if you help me to solve this problem.

Hello,

You can setup cron job on your hosting server by logging into cPanel system offered by your host. You can check "SETTING UP THE CRON COMMAND" Section in the documentation link Roland has provided.

You don't need to know php programming to setup a cron job. The cron command is the same as explained in the Tutorial. You just have to change the template id or template name, secret key and other parameters according to your template which you want to use for cron job.
