Hello,

I would like to know how to add html in the product name in my virtumart.
I have csvi pro 6.1.2 and virtumart 3.0.18 with flexible vm3 template version 3.7

When I import the csv file, I have the following in the product_name column:
ex.
product_name
Lot# 001<br>Alice B. Chittenden (1859-1944 San Francisco, CA)<br>est: $2000/3000
Lot# 002<br>Lockwood de Forest <br>(1850-1932 Santa Barbara, CA)<br>est: $1000/1500

The import runs fine without any errors. But when I look at it on the front end, it displays the product name with the "<br>" as text.
However, if I go into the product backend, without making any changes, and save it, the product name shows up properly without the "<br>" on the front end.

Ex.
Lot# 001
Alice B. Chittenden (1859-1944 San Francisco, CA)
est: $2000/3000

What can I do to fix this? We import about 300-500 products a month and cannot go into each to fix it.

Here is my url if it helps:

Hello Oscar,

But when I look at it on the front end, it displays the product name with the "<br>" as text.
The rendering on the front-end is not a task of CSVI. As you can see, CSVI stores the data just fine otherwise you wouldn't get the "<br>" showing on the front-end.

You will most likely have to change the template file that renders the product name. One thing you can test is, change 1 product name by hand by entering the br tag in it and see if it shows up as expected. If that works, then we will need to see your import file and debug log as requested at the top under Looking for a useful answer?.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Roland,

I manually added the <br> tags to the product name and it shows fine on the front end.

Attached is the file I used to import and the log file.

Thanks,
Oscar

Hello Oscar,

There are no files attached. Make sure the files are zipped before attaching them so that their sizes are small.

Hello,

How large are these files you are adding? Nothing is attached. Can you attach the log file first and later the import file? At least I can see the log file. If these files are too large, do an import with only a few products as that should give enough info already. These files will be a lot smaller and can be attached.
Kind regards,

RolandD

I got an error saying that the file was too big so I cut the log file down to the first 30 items.

Hello Oscar,
Can you try loading the attached patch file using CSVI maintenance menu and see the HTML tags are rendered properly?
