I made an import template, one of the fields is the intro_image field.

The image name is put on the right field, but by default placed in website root

Is it possible to change the default image location (e.g. /images of /images/<subfolder>/)

Hello,
I guess you are talking about image_intro field in Joomla content import. To change the default location, in your Joomla content import template settings on Image tab, look for "Location Image files" field and set your location in the field.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thanks for you reply, I fixed it myself by enabling the debug function.

Problem solved by removing the first / to the image field.
