Resolved Having issue with ROCSVI.

i see something strange.whenever i was try to update RO CSVI - VirtueMart - Breakdesigns,RO CSVI - VirtueMart - Product Cart Variant.. i am getting some errors like ' 0 Joomla\CMS\Application\CMSApplication::bootPlugin(): Return value must be of type Joomla\CMS\Extension\PluginInterface, PlgCsviextProductCartVariant returned '

i tried all the four extension to update.I already added subscription key .so i don't know what wrong?

can you please check and let me know.

Please update these plugins manually. This is a known error with automatic updates in Joomla4 for these plugins.

Hello Bernard,

This is an issue I looked into and found the cause of the problem you see. My findings are documented in the article bootPlugin error during update RO CSVI plugins. This should help you to prevent the error in the future.

Edit: I have had another look and there is something more to it. However unpublishing the plugins before update will allow you to update the plugins using the Joomla Updater.

Edit 2: The article is unpublished as it is not the correct solution. The new 8.10.0 release manages the plugins different so you do not have to do anything.

This problem still exist for this plug-in and a few others. Should it already been solved, or will it be solved after installing 8.10 and then installing future updates?

Hello Roderic,

This issue is fixed in the 8.10.0 release but you won't see it of course until you update to the next version once that comes out. Future updates should not give this warning anymore.
