Hi all,

We'd like to be able to import specific columns (consecutive or not) with google sheets, e.g.

A, B:E, I

Would it be possible? we have large google sheets with a lot of data, so this will enable us to make custom imports only for the data needed at a time.

Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,
In RO CSVI import template, you can set ranges from say A:I in the template settings and for the columns you don't want to import, you can set it to skip field in template fields. In your case set C,D,F,G and H to skip template field. That should help you do import of specific columns. Let me know on how that goes.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Chris,
Specific column import with Google sheets is not possible with RO CSVI. As of now we only support single consecutive range of cell import with Google sheets.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thanks Tharuna,

that's a good tip, thanks! Seems to work.

Btw, how csvi detects the google sheet end of records? I'm importing a sheet with abt 3000 records but CSVI keeps going and i need to stop it manually.

What happens after 3000 records? Can you post a screenshot on what you see?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Does your import finish and goes to log details page? We would like to see a screenshot on what you see with your import. That will help us to know the issue.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
