Resolved Google Merchant Feed Shipping Cost Based on Calculated Rules

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a Google Merchant feed for our products and I need to do shipping costs. My shipping costs are based on rules.


For example:

Any product I have with a weight under 1 lb will have a shipping charge of $8 plus 8% of the product price.
Any product I have with a weight between 1 lb and 99 lbs will have a shipping charge of $15 + 12% of the product price.

etc.

How would I configure this in the rules?

Please let me know.

Hello Bryan,
Any product I have with a weight under 1 lb will have a shipping charge of $8 plus 8% of the product price.
Any product I have with a weight between 1 lb and 99 lbs will have a shipping charge of $15 + 12% of the product price.

If you have these rules set as Shipment methods in VirtueMart you can select these Shipping methods in Google export template on File tab. RO CSVI will calculate Shipping prices based on product weight. Did you try that?

I haven't tried that as I'm not sure how to go about doing that. This photo is what I see when I click on the file tab.

Hello Bryan,
You are on RO CSVI 8.8.0 version and the shipping method feature was added in RO CSVI 8.9.0 version. Please update to latest RO CSVI 8.11.2 version and check for shipping methods field.

Hello Bryan,
You get 500 error when running export? Did you also update RO CSVI VirtueMart plugin? We need details on what is causing 500 error else it is difficult to find a solution. Please check server error logs and see if you can find details on the error. Post it here so we can check.

Hello Bryan,
You have sent me screenshot of RO CSVI debug log but I am asking for server error log. RO CSVI debug log will not have details of 500 error. Please check server error logs and see if you can get details of the error. If not post (S)FTP details so we can check. You can post the details on Site Details tab under your reply.
