Hi

I'm using CSV Improved for a long time.
Without changing anything, it runs now unstable.

Errors like this appearing

Error
No template has been selected for export. Make sure you have selected a template from the dropdown list which you want to export.

or non (attached log)

The result is always the same,
the xml file does not contain the numbers of products as stated and seems to be corrupted

Google error
1 ERROR: XML-Formatting error .
your feed contains a char, that is not allowed in UTF-8 encoding.

No idea why this happens, because I have no new products, which could be the problem.

Log files, template and xml files are attached

This error would appear if there is no valid template selected for export. Are you running this export using cron? If yes, have a look at Setting up cron job document to know if you have right cron URL.

There is a problem in the google.xml file you have attached in the post. If you check at line 6108 in the file there is a bunch of NULL entries in it and that is XML formatting error. What if you export only 10 products? do you still see those Null entries?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi

I do run it manually, no cron job.

When I export 10 products, the xml file seems to be ok

Hello,
Can you check the entries you have in your #__virtuemart_products table after virtuemart_product_id 1139? As per your google.xml file sent in your first post, after virtuemart_product_id 1139 the next record is with virtuemart_product_id 1385 and in between there are Null entries.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi

I did check the entries, but it seems to be a different issue.
Null entries appearing everytime in a differnt place, even when I don't change anything in the DB, just running the template twice.

Some times this error occurs , no cron job

Can you try to create a new Google export template with few fields and see how export goes?

Error
No template has been selected for export. Make sure you have selected a template from the dropdown list which you want to export.

You see this error only with Google export? Did you try other exports?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi

I did create a new template (a copy, did not work).
Et voilà, the export runs now smoothly as usual.

I don't know why, but the old export template seemed to be broken …

Thank you, Case solved
