Hello,
I am trying to import Virtuemart products CSV file from old website to new website but getting the below error message. I need help in importing the files.

Import file contains 9582 lines
No supported fields have been found in the import file

Hello Seema,
Can you post your sample import file and template XML to check? To get the template XML file go to CSVI maintenance menu, select CSVI Pro in first option and Backup templates in second option. Select your import template and click continue. Post the downloaded XML file.

I am using Joomla version-3.8.10, Php-5.6 and virtuemart- 3.2.14. Attached are two sample import files and XML templates and even the screenshots are attached.

Hello Seema,
Were you able to solve the issue of "No supported fields have been found in the import file"? From what i can see from your files you are trying to import manufacturer details using VirtueMart Product import template. You should use VirtueMart Manufacturer import to import your manufacturers. Also you need to remove virtuemart_manufacturer_id field from your import file. It is a primary key field and CSVI will handle that using mf_name field.

Also, the screen shot attached in your post shows that you are getting a 500 Internal server error. We need to get more details on this error and why it is happening. Take a look at 500 Internal server error document which helps you to find the details on the error. Without the details it is difficult for us to tell what has gone wrong.

Thanks for the quick response.

The reason your file is not working is because your file is not valid. You can check your file using CSVI Analyser to see for errors.

I had sent you the XML template for both files together.

I tried removing the Virtuemart_manufacturer_id field from the import file but it still shows the same error.

The reason your file is not working is because your file is not a valid. You can check your file using CSVI Analyser to see for errors.

Hello Seema,
If you see BOM error then your file has some encoding issue or can be said as not a UTF-8 encoded file. We often recommend our users to use OpenOffice to avoid such issues with encoding. To know on how to change your file check Save a CSV file as UTF-8 document.
