Hi

Is there a way to know that an order is the first order of that customer?

In the export of our orders we do with CSVIpro we were wondering if there is a way to identify new customers. in the sense of knowing that the exported order is the first of this customer.

Hello,

No, there is no direct way to do this but you can set a filter in your template settings for Order customer name and export order only for one user, that way you can track the first order of the user.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,

A very interesting question. The only way I can think of doing something like this is to create an override of the export. In this override you execute an additional query to check if the order being exported is the first order of the customer. If it is, you mark it somehow, perhaps with your own custom field.

Out of the box this is not possible as Tharuna explained.
Kind regards,

Hi thanks for reply, iIf you two ever come with an idea about how to implement this it would be great.

My boss the other day told me: "Can you mark somehow the first order of new customers in the order file for the warehouse (CSVIpro export) so we can give them some samples of products" and thats why I was checking how to.
