I'm importing Products to Virtuemart. In csvi 5.21.2 everything works OK. Now I'm upgrading to csvi 6.3.0. My templates work, except for the first line, containing the fields information. My csvi files are .xls. Like in 5.21.2 I set the "Use file for configuration" to No and "Skip first line" to Yes. In the Import I receive an error in Line 1 that in /images/stories/virtuemart/product/ the image: product_full_image has not been found. That's obvious because in line 1 this is just the Fieldname. The following lines are correctly imported. So it seems as if the first line is considered as an Import line, but for the next lines as a line with Fields information.

This issue has been fixed already and will be in the next release. It is an issue just with XLS files.
