Hello!
I wanted to import multiple user groups but it does not work. It would be great if I could set 17,18,19 for example in a csv and it assigns or appends (depending on the setting) all of these usergroups
thank you!

Hello Elisa,
Thank you for your feedback. Those details you get about added, updated or invalid are from Joomla queries used with user import. We do have plans in improving debug log in future which will be Joomla independent details.
One thing that could be improved however is when I have an Import and the debug says added, updated or invalid — it would be useful to have a log what was updated and what was invalid, it's not easy to find that out by the protocol.

Hi Tharuna.
it worked with the pipes. One thing that could be improved however is when I have an Import and the debug says added, updated or invalid — it would be useful to have a log what was updated and what was invalid, it's not easy to find that out by the protocol.
thank you,
Elisa

Hi Elisa,
It needs to be the pipe-symbol, not the comma. Did you try that?

Hi Roland,
thats strange, I imported it with comma separated names, but it said it's invalid.

Hi Elisa,
We actually do support the import of multiple user groups when doing a user import, at least I assume you are doing a user import since you have not mentioned it. However the multiple user groups must be the names, usergroup_name and not the IDs, RO CSVI will find the IDs for you. In case you have overlapping names you need to use the usergroup_path. In both cases multiples are by default separated with a | unless you defined something else in your template.
More info can be found at https://rolandd.com/documentation/ro-csvi/joomla-users/joomla-user-import
Does that answer your question?
