Resolved Feature request: Frontend CSV VM Cart import

Here I am again,

So one of my clients used to have a function in their Magento webshop, where there B2B clients could import a batch of products into their cart by uploading CSV files. This way you can quickly add many products to the cart, instead of having to look up every single product. Example:



product_sku,quantity

123456,10

654987,25


I would say, RO CSVI has everything in house to make this work as well. So what I would need:
Frontend upload possibility
Virtuemart Cart Import template

Would this be possible and can you implement this?

Almost anything is possible but not something that belongs in RO CSVI if you ask me. If you want a user to import a CSV file into their cart, you need to have access to that cart session. Since the RO CSVI import runs in it's own environment it will not have access to the cart session.

RO CSVI has front-end import functionality but you would need to upload the file to a server and let the import template read it from server. Then again that will not have access to the cart session.

I see this more as an option in VirtueMart than an RO CSVI option.
