Hi Roland, hope you are well
Tried an import on PHP 7.0.5 / Joomla 3.5.1 using latest CSVI 6.5.6 and got the following fatal error in the server
[Mon Apr 11 16:02:37.911351 2016] [fcgid:warn] [pid 22514] [client 62.38.74.252:54541] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Cannot use 'String' as class name as it is reserved in /home/****/public_html/libraries/vendor/joomla/string/src/String.php on line 19, referer: https://www.quality-tuning.eu/administrator/index.php?option=com_csvi&view=import
Hope you have a clue on this!
Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,
I have tracked down the problem. The attached patch file should fix the issue. Can you give it a try?

Hello Chris,
Of course I can't reproduce the error so I installed PHP 7.0.5, (I was on 7.0.4) but still no go. Could you send me a private message with the file you are importing and a backup of the template you are using? You can make an export of the template by going to Maintenance -> Maintenance -> CSVI Pro -> Backup templates. Just choose the template you are using.
Thanks.

Getting older hmy:
Haha, all of us
I used a Product Import to do some translations, the fields are:
product_sku, product_name, product_desc, product_s_desc, metadesc, metakey

Hey Chris,
Which import did you try and which fields are you using? I am guessing I am triggering this file somewhere but want to reproduce the error so it is easier to track down.
The Joomla file you mentioned is different :PGetting older hmy:

Hello Chris,
All is well and with you as well I hope
This error I know from Joomla pre 3.5 release as it is an issue with the Joomla Framework. It looks like your Joomla update is incomplete. If you take a look at the current Joomla code at GitHub you will see that line 19 is just a comment line and line 22 has the new name JString.
By the way, there is a serious bug in PHP 7.0.5 so it is recommended to stay on 7.0.4. See the PHP bug report for more details.
