Resolved Exporting VM Category URL's, to create a Menu import spreadsheet from that

Hello,

I'm looking to export the URLs of my VM Categories along with their names instead of their slugs.

This information would be helpful in creating a spreadsheet to import a menu structure with the VM Categories.

Doing this manually would be a tedious task, so I'm hoping for a solution to "automate" the process.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Okay, I just figured it out.

I realised that I can export the VM Category Name and ID, and I can append the ID to the VM category base URL



index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_category_id=


So I did that, and it worked like a charm.

I used ChatGPT to remove the unnecessary categories from the VM Category spreadsheet beforehand.

I only needed the main Categories. that is 67 from 3310.

I used the following fields to import the Menu's:
component, component_id, id, language, level, link, menutype, parent_id, path, published, title, type

Problem Solved.

Still an awesome plugin.
