Hi
Just a quick doubt.
When we export values were we use keys like COM_VIRTUEMART_CUSTOM_TRANSLATION
This is the value exported by CSVIpro
I assume CSVIpro always takes the values from the database which I believe are stored that way, so what I wonder is if is possible somehow or could be possible in the future that CSVIPro uses the translated terms instead of the key.
What we do for now is just use the Replace plugin to obtain the text we want, quite a hard work so I wonder if it would be possible for CSVIpro to read the language overrides folder or language ini files to obtain the correct translation terms.

Hello,
Thats correct, there are few values VirtueMart stores it as language string in the database and CSVI exports the same. We will look into this and see what can be done here.
Yes, that is the only option now. You need to use Replace rule to translate the language strings to export as values.

Hello,
Can you tell me in which export you are having this problem of untranslated strings? I have fixed this issue in few exports and can send you the patch file of the specific export you need.

Hi Tharuna
This happens to us in "product_attribute" were we use custom fields with translation keys in the joomla overrides.
So is basicly when exporting core custom fields of type string which are translated in the .ini language overrides.

Hello,
Sorry to say but yesterday we made some big changes in code for loading these language files. Sending one part of the file in patch can break the site. Can this wait till our next release which is CSVI 7.1.0 version?
