Resolved export stockable customfields values

Hello,
Can you tell me what is the custom field type of sizes? Please post a screenshot of this custom field from VirtueMart Custom fields page. If you are exporting values of stockable custom field you should see the values in custom_value field in export but in your case it is empty.

Please send me the requested details to check more on this issue.

1. Your export template XML file. To get your template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select your template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.
2. Debug log of the export. To get the debug log check How to collect debug information? document.
3. Screenshot of your stockable custom field on how you have them set up in VirtueMart Custom fields page.
4. What is the version of Breakdesigns Stockable custom field you are using?

Latest version does not tell us the version number. We ask for the version number so to check if there are any updates with extension in that version that breaks import or export.

Thank you for posting the requested files. I find an issue with the screenshot attached. For Stockable custom field in VirtueMart custom fields page, default value is missing. You need to add that as stockablecustomfields and save the custom field(See attached screenshot). Check the export and see if custom_value field works.

Thank you for sending the requested details. I had a look at Stockable custom field and values on export. I found that you are exporting only parent products in your export. For parent product custom_param field has the value of linked child products and that is exported in your export file. That is how the values are stored in VirtueMart. The actual custom field values are stored for each child product. So i modified your template to export child products and can see the custom field value for the child product. Please take a look at your export and let me know.

What you are asking is not possible with how the data is stored and RO CSVI works. As Tharuna explained, the values are stored with the child products and not with the parent products.

If you want all possible sizes to export with the parent product, during export all the children should be retrieved and the size values taken out of them and then passed to the parent. This is going to require custom coding to get that done. The only non-coding option I see is to use replacement rules to replace the product IDs with the color but that means you need to maintain the colors in both the products and the replacement rules. Perhaps another non-coding option is to just add a custom field to your export template and always set sizes to Small, Medium, Large.
