Hi
We have two tables users / jsn_users. We would like to join those two tables, and export some fields from users, and other fields from jsn_users. Is this possible whit CSVI Pro (v5.17), and if yes, how can we do this?

Thanks a lot for any advice.
Bernhard

Hello Bernhard,

With the custom table import/export it is not possible to join tables. It is a very basic 1 table import/export.

The only solution would be to write your own import/export routine.
Kind regards,

Hello Pierre,

Even with CSVI Pro, you will need to write your own import/export routine.

Hello Rolandd,

yes, that sentence I did read :-)
But I do not know what that means. Do I have to write a plugin for CSVI, or is there a field available which could manage it. Or more simpler asked: How can I join two tables?

I am practiced with the custom fields and sql and I have a query which does a table LEFTJOIN for a complete csv for a special export of more than the available fields of (for e.g.) included order-products, -users and so on.
So now I try to realize an based sql statement (which is including 2 or more tables) and I do not get it to work with CSVI :-)
Please point me a direction.

Best regards,
Pierre.

Check the manual, Override import/export routines.

You can't unless you write the code.

Check the article on overrides, it should make things clearer.
Kind regards,
