I have setup a new template called 'CiviCRM User Export' and I have followed the guide here: https://rolandd.com/documentation/ro-csvi/custom-tables but when I run the template, I'm just getting the CSV output with the headings, no data. I've even removed all of the Template fields and edited the template to just output the core 'users' table but the csv is still empty. Can someone point me in the direction of how to do this correctly please?

Hello,

Just wondering, why are you using the custom table export instead of the Joomla User Export template?

The custom table export can work but is a lot more work.

You can install the example templates from the Maintenance Menu by choosing RO CSVI and then Install example templates. The Joomla User Export is also part of the example templates. That might get you going.

Let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Thanks for the reply, I'm using the 'custom table export' as I have additional tables that I need to export too - CiviCRM uses more than 1 table to store user(member) information

Hello,

If you use the Custom Table Export I would like to see a screenshot of how you have setup the tables in your template. Also post the debug log for us to check. Just to be sure, after you save the template, you need to update the available fields to be able to use the fields.

You can also use the SQL Query option in the Custom Table Export, which may ease the way of putting a query together.

Let us know how you have set things up and we will check how we can help you get up and running.
Kind regards,

RolandD
