Resolved Export all customers

Hi Tiago,

The error you see is about the field usergroup_name, from the debug log you posted it looks like you have that field in your import file but the field is empty or just a space perhaps. This field should be Registered for all lines. If you add that value to all the rows, then run the import this error should not happen.

Do I remove shopper_group_name from the export file?

On the original website, all users are in the "Registered" group, only the admin is a "Super user". What should I do to resolve the error?

Debug log shows "Usergroup with name not found" error. Which means there is empty Joomla usergroups in the import file. Is this the error you are talking about?

Also there was no such error with Joomla user import you did previously.

Your suggestion worked; I already have a file with the data. However, the import resulted in an error. I'm sending the log.

You did not post the export debug log to check why export is empty. But I think I know what could be wrong. In VirtueMart userinfo export template on Options tab set Access level field to No assigned shoppergroups, save the template and run the export and check.

If you still have problem post latest export debug log to check. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.

Yes use VirtueMart userinfo export and import example template to import and export VM user data. You should not have admin line problem here as I guess there wont be any details saved in VM table for admin user.

Yes may be. Please try import with attached import file. I have removed the first row with username admin.

Hello, I edited the file in LibreOffice Calc and removed the admin line. But when trying to import it into RO CSVI, I get this error:

Debug log shows the actual error. The error is `Duplicate entry 'admin' for key 'blpk7_users.idx_username'` and that is because username in Joomla user table should be unique. You must be already having a user with username admin in your database and the import file has another user with username admin and that is breaking the import. You can remove the admin user from import file and check the import. Also check if there is any other Joomla users with same username as in import file.

There are virtueMart customers and Joomla users, I assume you want to migrate both or not? The best would be to export and import Joomla users first using the provided migration templates. Do check if there are any custom fields you use for Joomla users, those would need to be added to the export template as well.

After the users are done you can use the Example VirtueMart Userinfo Export to export the VirtueMart user data (shoppers as they are called in VirtueMart) from the old site and the Example VirtueMart Userinfo Import to import them into the new site.
