Hi,

We have a joomla site (3.6.2) with virtuemart (3.0.18). Our php version is 5.4.45.

We made a fresh installation of csvi (6.6.4) plus the addon for virtuemart (6.6.4).
Unfortunately, when we tried to build a new template to import products, it came with an error (see the attached).

Something goes wrong and we dont know why.
We used in the specific site an older version but we uninstalled it completely (+ removing the tables from database)

We have tried to install the new version several times, trying different things but nothing happens (everytime we also removed the csvi tables for the database).

We also need to install your addon for "custom fields for all"

What 's your opinion? What happened?

Best Regards,
Panos

Hello Panos,

Do you mean that the installation doesn't happen? If nothing happens, turn on error reporting in Joomla under System -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error Reporting -> Development. This should show you any errors and/or warnings.

We also need to install your addon for "custom fields for all"
You can't install the plugin?

What 's your opinion? What happened?
With the template it seems there is a plugin interfering with the AJAX call. Please check one of these analyzer tutorials and post here what you see. Perhaps that will give us a better idea of what is happening.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Panos,
In addition to what Roland suggested, this could be a problem with your javascript file for CSVI not loaded correctly. Can you try clearing the site cache and see if it helps?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi,

Thank you for your excellent support. Your last advice was really the case to my problem.
I just didnt believe that clearing the cache would fix the problem.
As i said, i tried many times to install it and uninstall it by deleting the tables from DB too.
So, it was a little strange as i have done it in the past in other sites without a problem ..

Thank you again and good job!

Best regards,
Panos
