Hi there,
I have the 5.21.1 CSVI version
Joomla 3.4.0
VM 3.0.6
Installation went fine.
But when ever i hit go button to export a file i get this message:
''Before any fields can be added for export, the template must be saved by clicking on the Save As new button at the top''
Then i have to choose again a template but the procedure goes on and on.
When i try to create a template on my own when i click add+ button on the export options on the fields tab i get a message:
''Oops something went wrong.
Let me try to show the warning below here. If nothing shows up then I didn't get any data, sometimes this is caused by faulty plugins.
Cancel the import and check if all settings are correct and try the import again.''
If i click on the quick add button the expected popup pops up, but when i choose some fields and click on the add fields then i get a message:
''undefined''
but the fields are added.
If i then click on the go button to export fields, then i get again the usual message
''Before any fields can be added for export, the template must be saved by clicking on the Save As new button at the top''
The log file on the tmp/com_csvi/debug folder is empty
So there is nothing i can do and no debug files to upload.
Can you please advice?

Hello,
Just for my curiosity, the VMVendor plugin is not a core plugin, what is the purpose of this plugin?

Hello,
If you don't want to find out which plugin is breaking things, the only option left is to use CSVI 6.
I am sorry but there is nothing I can do about stopping these plugins from messing with the requests.
telling me that an other plugin is causing the issue is not really that helpfull.I do think it is helpful because I am telling you where the problem is.
But having an 100% workable VMThis has nothing to do with a working or not working VM. CSVI is making a request to the server and another extension screws it up. There is nothing CSVI can do about that other than suffer. The only way around it is not make the call to the server so it can't be screwed up. That is what is being done in CSVI 6.
Can you please give me some help to short it out?I have given you the name of a plugin that doesn't follow the rules, a few other ones are listed in this article Conflict with plugins.

Hello,
If you get a popup button when editing the fields of the template, CSVI needs fields for export otherwise it won't know what to export, it is almost always a plugin that is interfering with the CSVI AJAX request. This means the fields are added but you get no feedback.
Very annoying but nothing CSVI can do when another plugin changes the response. The only way around this is to find the offending plugin and turn it off. There is another thread with this exact issue and there it was a plugin called vmVendor that was the culprit.
