Hi, I was updating 5.15 free to 5.21.1 pro and I got this error message when installing:
1054 Unknown column 'jkgi_csvi_template_types.ordering' in 'order clause' SQL=SELECT component AS value, CONCAT('COM_CSVI_', UPPER(component)) AS text FROM `jkgi_csvi_template_types` LEFT JOIN jkgi_extensions ON jkgi_csvi_template_types.component = jkgi_extensions.element GROUP BY component ORDER BY `jkgi_csvi_template_types`.`ordering`
When I closed the error CSVI PRO appeared in the menu but certain menus gave errors. I Went to about and noticed:
Warning: Database is not up to date!
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_settings' does not have column 'process'. (From file 4.3.sql.)
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_fields' does not have column 'file_field_name'. (From file 5.0.sql.)
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_fields' does not have column 'template_field_name'. (From file 5.0.sql.)
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_fields' does not have column 'cdata'. (From file 5.0.sql.)
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_types' does not have column 'published'. (From file 5.3.sql.)
Table 'jkgi_csvi_template_types' does not have column 'ordering'. (From file 5.3.sql.)
I pressed the fix database and all the errors went away. The only thing left is now the menu looks off. Is this a concern? Did the extension install correctly?
Thanks.

Hello,
After that do a new CSVI Pro install, you shouldn't have any issues after that.
I was updating 5.15 free to 5.21.1 proHow did you manage that? CSVI Free doesn't even run on Joomla 3.

Did the extension install correctly?Since this is a new install I would say to be sure you better do a clean install. Go to Maintenance and select CSVI Pro -> Delete CSVI tables. This will remove all CSVI tables and then you go to Extension Manager and uninstall CSVI Pro. This will clean out CSVI from Joomla.

Sorry I meant I was installing 5.21 pro on a recently migrated 2.5->3.4 site that had 5.15 free uninstalled prior to the migration.
I tried deleting the tables. After the warning I pressed continue and it gives me this error:
1146 Table 'wmg3.jkgi_csvi_settings' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT params FROM jkgi_csvi_settings WHERE id = 1
I then clicked "return to control panel" and get:
"Message
Tables deleted, you can now uninstall CSVI from Joomla"
I uninstalled and then re-installed the extension again. The menu still looks same and I also get this error if I click on the process button in the process menu now:
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3 SQL=SELECT name FROM jkgi_csvi_template_settings WHERE id =

Hello,
As for the menu, I am wondering if it is some browser cache for CSS settings. It is just a visual issue, nothing to do with the working of the extension.
I also get this error if I click on the process button in the process menu now:After selecting the template in the dropdown, you must click Load before you click on Process. Did you do that?
