Resolved Empty values ignored on import

Hi,
I have created a template for articles import. The customer creates the CSV file and because the order of the list is not always the same, the alias they insert changes position, for example the list from yesterday has Mr. Smith as first entry and becomes the alias "entry-1". The list from today has Mr. Jones as first entry with alias "entry-1". We are trying to change that to avoid problems.
But what I experienced today is that not all values are overwritten on the import. If for example the field "web" (custom field) for Mr. Jones is empty, after the import the field has still the value from Mr. Smith. Are empty fields in the CSV being ignored? What should I do to get all values overwritten?

Hello Viviana,
Thank you for posting the debug log. In your import template on File tab you have set Skip empty custom fields to Yes. This setting will ignore custom fields with empty value. Set this to No, save the template and run the import and check.

Hello Viviana,
Empty values will be overwritten on import by default. Please post import debug log so I can check what is going on with your import. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.
