Resolved Duplicate records due to custom fields

Hey Roland,

With an export on product sku and name (2 fields only), I am getting duplicate records. I am getting the same productname/sku record 2 or 3 times in the export file.
Total records export: 5083, with only 2079 unique ones.

If I however select 2 other fields, sku and custom_fields I am getting just these 2079 records.
I checked the table _virtuemart_products_en_gb, there are also just 2079 records.

Can you reproduce this?
I did an import of custom fields yesterday, could this be related?

PS1. One small thing to improve, when you open a template for editing, you only have 2 options, save and save/close. It should have a cancel as well!
PS2. I wanted to add the log file, but the download isn't working. It generated a empty zip file. I had to do a copy/paste. Logfile is small!!!

Can you reproduce this?
No need to do that, you will have to go to the Fields page in your template and set the Group By option. Set this to product_sku and your export won't have duplicates anymore.

That is a little tricky. The template must be saved otherwise you can't run the import. Still something that is being worked on.

It happens on some systems, still seeing what can be done about that. There is already a check for too large a file but the export logs are always small, so it shouldn't be an issue.
