Hi guys,

sorry for bothering you again, but I have some very very strange problem. I had imported my products in the site - 86 categories (6 main and 80 sub) and 4608 products. The import was OK, the log said that I have 86 categories. After two days, I did not do any change in products, I entered the VM admin and realized that I have 677 categories - subcategories had entered in other subcategories, a total mess. I delete everything, even from the database, and now I am trying to import them (the same files as previous ones) and have this message: An error has occured during the import. Below the information received from the server.
Duplicate entry '0-1' for key 'category_parent_id' Every time I am doing it I have a few products imported and 1-2 categories made.

Joomla! 3.9.16
RO CSVI 7.15.0
VirtueMart 3.6.10 10211

And when I tried to delete categories from the admin I have this error: An error has occurred. 1062 Duplicate entry '0-4' for key 'category_parent_id'
but however the categories are deleted.

Hello,
It is possible that you have leftovers in #__virtuemart_category_categories table. You need to clean this table before running the import.

If you are looking at cleaning VirtueMart tables, you can do it from RO CSVI Maintenance page. Select VirtueMart in first dropdown and Empty database in second dropdown. You can see the tables RO CSVI will empty. Click on continue.

Hi Tharuna,

thank you for this, It worked nicely! Do you have any idea how this with categories has happened? I am sure that I had only 86 in Friday, and today I have 677 :o It was so disturbing, and if it happens again?

You got this 677 categories after doing the import? If so we need to check your import debug log. Can you do a fresh import and check what happens with the categories? If you find any issue please post the debug log to check.

No, on Friday we made an import - 86 categories. Now, when I enterd the site in the morning, they were 677, without importing nothing. Very strange, but I can not explai it, Now everything looks Ok.
