I had this issue:
https://csvimproved.com/support/questions-and-answers/3536-deal-with-different-collations-in-mysql

Solved it like described in the kb.
But i still get the same error - all my tables in database are now utf8_unicode_ci

Are there any ideas what is still going wrong?

Thx and kind regards

Hello,
Which import are you using? Can you check the concerned VirtueMart tables of your import? I mean if you are using VirtueMart product import check your #__virtuemart_products table and #__virtuemart_products_xx_xx (where xx_xx is the language). Click on the structure tab of the table and see if you see any difference in Collation.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
At some tables are no entry at kollation and at the others all utf8_unicode_ci

The collation is only on text fields and so its empty for other type fields. How about your #__virtuemart_products_xx_xx language table?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
I also uninstalled the Component and Reinstalled but same issue....

This is not the problem with CSVI component but with your database so reinstalling component wont help. I noticed that VirtueMart tables have utf8_general_ci as collation but you have utf8_unicode_ci as collation set. Was this updated by you?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Can you check the collation of your of your database too? Click on your database name in PhpMyAdmin and on the right side, click on Operations tab and check the collation.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
