I know you are working in the ordering and groupping as commented. I let you something here to think about:
Simple export order template:
1 full_name
2 product_quantity
3 order_item_name
Result in image. By default (correct me if im wrong) CSVI orders results by product name (order_item_name) alphabetically.
What if we wanted to order it by Full name alphabetically?
Would be nice if we could choose what is the field to be taken in to account for ordering.

That it sorts by the order number is because the order number fields comes before the product name field. It is just lucky it is the order you want
All this is something I need to think about more to come to a final decision.
What if we wanted to order it by Full name alphabetically?You are touching at the core of the problem here. You simply can't sort easily on all fields because they are not database fields but combined fields. So by making all fields sortable would create the effect that some fields just won't sort.
