but how do I know if I need just CSVI or CSVI Virtuemart version?
You need both of these files installed if you are using RO CSVI to import/export data from VirtueMart.
What is the difference between these 2 files please? I cannot find anything about the difference in the downloads section.
RO CSVI is the core package which supports import/export of Joomla extensions. RO CSVI VirtueMart is addon package which needs to be installed to import or export data from VirturMart.
