Hello. I'm using the generic child variant feature on VM3 on my products. Thanks to rolandD i did a correct setup. When customers select the "size" for the product it redirects to another SKU wich is correct.

The problem is VM does not allow to me to import my own label and only allows "name","height","weight","sku","alias", and some more. ( See attached file) and customer have to select the product using only those labels. I would like to import my own label wich is in my CSV so my customer can see my own text.

Ive seen some screenshoots on the vm website wich seems vm to allow that but all the documentation is very poor.

Can CSVimproved do that? If yes, wich are the parameters?

Hello,

I think CSVI might be able to do so. To test this, enter a custom label in a product and save the changes.

Run an export with the fields product_sku, custom_title, custom_value, and custom_param. See if and how the label comes out.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Thanks rolandd but right now I dont know how to enter a "custom label" on my "generic child variant" field. As you can see on the attached image only allows NAME,SKU,ALIAS,LENGTH, WIDTH, HEIGHT AND WEIGHT and not something like "custom label"

Oh, I see what you mean now. I thought you could do so in VirtueMart by just typing a name. Well if VirtueMart doesn't support it, it won't be possible to import it with CSVI. You would need to ask the VirtueMart people to add this feature, then CSVI can support it as well.
Kind regards,

RolandD
