Hi - I have installed Custom Fields For All and set up some custom fields. However CSVI does not see them when I go to Quick Add on the template. Do you know why this is?

Hello,
Something is gone wrong with your installation. You should be seeing few more tabs along with details tab. Can you use firebug console and check if you see any javascript error in your template page?

OK I have converted to UTF-8 using jEdit. Now it says File source is not set for the template. Please edit the template and set the source from Source tab - but I don't have a Source tab?

Hello,
The attached file is UTF-8Y, also known as a BOM file. The Byte Order Mark(BOM) is an invisible 3-characters at the beginning and it is seen in your file. You have to first save your file as a normal UTF-8 file before doing the import. Also, can you edit your template go to Source tab, set a source there and save the template? Try the import and see if it works.

OK I have done this and it appears to be working. I have exported the CSV in Excel, created an import template however when I try to import I get this message: File source is not set for the template. Please edit the template and set the source from Source tab
I have attached the CSV that was created on export from CSVI.

Hello,
You actually don't need custom fields for all fields as available fields, Please check the custom fields for all documentation to know how to create the import file for importing custom fields for all values.

Hello,
Can you load the attached patch file using CSVI maintenance menu and then update your available fields? Check if you can see the fields after that.
