Resolved Custom customer field in shipping

Hello Davide,
Are you not able to see this custom field? If yes, did you update your available fields? If the custom field value is added only to shipping address then in your order export template, on options tab set Order address type to shipping address to export this field for shipping address.

yes, I can see it, put it always the same, for the billing and the shipping address.
In the options tab I have set shipping or billing, all the export is fine, but this field, no.

If you have set it to billing or shipping address then you should be seeing the value stored for shipping address field. What do you see as value in the field?

No because we don't do shipping or billing fields for custom fields as they are dynamic and change according to user site.

I'm showing the field of the shipping, but I see it in all the 2 addresses fields, billing and shipping.

Do I have to create 2 fields, 1 for billing adn 1 for shipping or there is another solution?

Hello Davide,
There are two ways of doing this. You can remove the Order address type filter in options tab in your export template so you get both shipping and billing address details in your export or you can create two different exports, one with filter set for billing address and other with filter set for shipping address.

Analysing more on this, custom fields are also one of the fields in User address info so it is good that we add support for exporting them as billing_ and shipping_ fields like we do for other fields. We will add this feature and send you the patch file when it is ready.

Assuming that you are running VirtueMart order export, the patch file for supporting billing_ and shipping_ for user custom fields in Order export is ready and is attached. Can you load the attached patch file and let me know how it goes? Also make sure you update your available fields after loading the patch file.
