Hi,
I have a lot of templates setup on a site and they seem to have lost their link to the available fields.
Error
Unfortunately, there are no fields set for this template. Now I don't know what to export. Go to Templates -> Template fields and add the fields you would like to export.
I update the available fields and it does not find my custom tables that I have added.

Hello,
Do you mean to say you don't see any available fields at all? Is it only for custom table export or for all export templates? Did you update your CSVI? If yes, from which version?
Updating available fields won't fetch your custom tables. It will add custom table database fields as available fields. In your custom table export template on Options tab under Table name you can see the custom tables.

Hello,
The log you have posted is empty. Is the available fields not available only for custom table or for all of your exports?
Also, can you go to your PHPMyAdmin, select your database and look for table #__csvi_template_fields. Click on Structure tab and send me the screenshots on the fields names you have in this table?

Hello,
What if you try to add a field using New button in template fields page instead of Quick add button? Are you able to see the fields then? Also go to Available fields page and in the filters select Action >> Export, Component >> CSVI Pro and Operation filter as Custom tables, do you see any fields there?
Yes wanted to check if the table has all fields after the update.
Can you post the table structure of your table promart_quote_invoice? I will check the available fields running on my local site.
looks like just the custom tables.

is there a way I can just roll back?
The client uses this system to keep their site updated with live despatch information. They are all over the place without this working!

Hello Dave,
There isn't just a rollback option. Allow me to go through a few steps with you and do some checks and I am sure we can get this resolved. These are a few things I would like you to check:
It is a few things to check but it should give us an idea of what there is.
Let me know and we can take the next step.

- In your first post there was a screenshot of your template and it showed two fields, are they still there?
- When you check the database table csvi_templatefields, do you see any data there?
- If you see any data in the last step, can you find your template ID in the csvi_template_id column?
It is a few things to check but it should give us an idea of what there is.
Let me know and we can take the next step.

1. No there are no custom fields showing. They disappeared after I updated available fields after the last update. Processing the update finds none of my custom fields used in my export templates.
2. Yes. But the only custom ones appearing are from my promart_products table
3. No. They are not.
4. Yes as attached.

Thanks for that.
So the root issue here is that the Update Available Fields is not doing. You posted a debug log earlier but that has no information because it doesn't log anything to the debug log only to screen. What we need to do is check the log of the update of the Available Fields.
If you go to Logs, you should see a list of recent activities and the Update Available Fields should be there as well.
Does it have a value in the column Records?
Click on the action name CSVI Maintenance and half way down the page you should see the results of the update. You should see a lot of Success result messages and a description like Available fields have been added for table ... You can use the Search tools to filter the list for different statuses in case you have those.
Let me know what you find there.

Hey Dave,
Can you send me FTP and Joomla access details either via email or in a private message? I will have a look as to why this is happening.

Hello Dave,
I believe the issue has been resolved now. I do not know how but the csvi_availabletables did not have your custom tables in there anymore. Opening and saving every template added the tables and updating the available fields indexed them.
Can you check if it is OK now?
Just need to find out how they got removed from the availabletables...
