Resolved CSVI Virtuemart multiple categories

Hi there

I am running the free version of csvi as it is on an older version of Joomla.
I am trying to export a Google Base for merchant but the error comes in where the categories are not in one xml field.
I have this working on another site but this version is proving to be troublesome.

one Item looks like this:

<item>
<g:google_product_category>Swimwear</g:google_product_category>
<g:google_product_category>40% Bikini Sales</g:google_product_category>
</item>

Where I would like it to look like this

<item>
<g:google_product_category>Swimwear | 40% Bikini Sales</g:google_product_category>
</item>

Hello André,

Joomla 2.5 is no longer supported because it is end of life already. There is still a Pro version for Joomla 2.5 available for download. This is version 5.21.2. You can use that but we no longer support that version either. It is there for those who want to use it because they haven't updated to Joomla 3 yet.

Looking at the current version of CSVI, it only exports the first category and replaces the / to a > because Google needs the > as category separator.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, it is the latest version 5.11 that is compatible with J2.5.

I have a paid up membership so would be able to upgrade to pro if pro was available for J2.5

Hello Andre,

This must be a really old version of CSVI which is no longer supported.

I have this working on another site but this version is proving to be troublesome.
Which version do you have there? Is it the same free version?

I no longer remember how it works exactly in the free version but in general the category_path should export multiple categories separated by the | symbol.
