Resolved CSVI Template and data

Ok re Export of products info using the eXAMPLE TEMPLATE virtuemart products export. When I produce the csv file it has all worked great . My question is when i ammend this csv fie with changes of values such a prices etc and save it. I then use the example Import virtuemart products template and ensure its all mapped correctly if i run that will the programme then update and replace / over write the data in those fields only it will not do anyrthing to existing data in other fields such as seo info it will only over write the data from the fields thatg appear in the template . It will not blank out / remove " Other " data that exists in the product tables which were NOT past of the example template

That is correct. The fields that are in import file will be updated and other fields which are not in import file are untouched by import.

It will not blank out / remove " Other " data that exists in the product tables which were NOT past of the example template

Are you saying you want to remove the data from other fields with import?
