Resolved CSVI import and excessive SQL queries?

I use a hosting provider that allows me 75000 max questions per hour. Max questions means “Number of queries the user can execute within one hour”.

It appears that I am only able to load about 40 rows of product with 11 columns before I reach this maximum.

This blows me away as the small amount. I am curious to see if anybody else has seen this issue. I can add content into Virtuemart manually and have no issues but one I use CSVI the problem started.

Can anybody shed some light into my problem or confirm if this is a CSVI caused issue?

40 products and 11 columns should not be generating 75000 queries. That seems to be impossible. Can you attach your debug log and your import file to check what is actually happening?

We have not seen this issue before and this is something new to us. I would suggest you to update your CSVI to latest 7.1.0 version and try the import again. There has been few issues fixed in this version.
