Resolved csvi 7.0.2 import products and child products

Please check the screenshot in the document, it clearly shows that title should be Multi Variant and it is also explained under the screenshot why the title has to be so.

So, I have created in virtuemart the custom field named "Size" and the custom field type I chose to be mutli variant.

This is again seems to be wrong. Let me explain.

1. On VirtueMart custom fields page, you need to create a new custom field with title Multi Variant and custom field type as Multi variant. I am saying title to be Multi Variant only because in your import file the field multi_variant_title has the value as Multi Variant.
2. On the same VirtueMart custom fields page, create another custom field with title Size, say you set the custom field type as String.
3. Now update available fields in CSVI.
4. Run the import.

The custom fields should look like the image below.

Let us go step by step. Please follow my instruction on how to create the custom fields in VirtueMart. Once that is done, Update your available fields and i will explain on how to run the import.

ok i checked it in the front end that the sizes are shown on the drop down menu. And in the back under the custom fields the sizes are shown. So In csvi pro the product_multi_variant_import template is ok?

Yes template is Ok but wanted to explain on the template fields, in your import template settings on File tab, If you set use file for configuration option to Yes, CSVI will read the column headers in your import file as template fields. You don't have to add fields on template fields page. This can be followed when column headers in your import file has the same name as your database field names. Your file has column headers same as database name so Use file for configuration is set to Yes. Hope it is clear.
