Resolved Cron "No secret key has been specified"

Hello,
If you are using a template as a cron you need to set the Secret key field in your template settings on Details tab. You can check Setting up a cron job document to know on how to use this secret key in the cron command.

ok..now i get this error "The key was given but this does not match the key set in the template"

The error says that secret key you have set in your template settings don't seem to be matched with key you are using in your cron command, Please cross check if they both are same.

Can you tell us which CSVI version you are using?. The thread here had the same issue and it was because of parameters being ignored in cron URL. The fix was included in our previous 7.1.0 CSVI version. So if you are running older CSVI version try updating to latest 7.2.3 version and check the cron again.

One more thing to check is PHP version of CLI on your server. It could be running on older PHP version and so parameters in cron URL are not read.

Your CSVI version is up to date so we are good there. Is the PHP version you posted is for your CLI? Can you tell me the version you see when you run php -v from the command line?

There is a problem in the cron URL you sent in the message. I replied to your message but still posting it here. The key parameter should be --key="xxx" and not -key="xxx" as in your URL. Note the two dashes in front of key parameter. Please correct this and check if the cron runs without issues.
