Hi,

I was using the cron job function in my old Joomla 2.5 / CSVI 2.18 / PHP 5.5 installation without problems for a long time.
Now, after updating to Joomla 3.4.3 and CSVI 5.21 / PHP 5.5, I get the following error:

<br />
<b>Warning</b>: require_once(__DIR__/platform.php) [<a href='function.require-o nce'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/homepages/42/d152310404/htdocs/J34_VM3/libraries/import.legacy.php</b> on line <b>42</b><br />
<br />
<b>Fatal error</b>: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require </a>]: Failed opening required '__DIR__/platform.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5') in <b>/homepages/42/d152310404/htdocs/J34_VM3/libraries/import.legacy.php </b> on line <b>42</b><br />

Please help!

Thanks

Good morning,

Please update CSVI to the latest version as well, which is 6.0.1. That should work without a problem on the latest Joomla version.

You can read the announcement of CSVI 6 in the CSVI 6 Pro has arrived article.

Setting up a cron job in CSVI 6 is explained in the Setting up a cron job tutorial.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi RolandD,

thanks for you message.
Unfortunately version 6.0.1 is not running good. I get a lot of different errors, e.g.
Maintenance -> Maintenance: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
Maintenance -> availablefields: Error 500
Maintenance -> analyzer: Fatal error: Call to undefined method CsviModelAnalyzer::getItem() in /homepages/42/d152310404/htdocs/J34_VM3/libraries/fof/view/raw.php on line 219
.... and so on.

if possible, I would like to use 5.21. It works good, except of the cron job issue.

Please help me to resolve my problem (first post).

Thanks a lot!

Best
Pantaley

Hello,

Unfortunately version 6.0.1 is not running good.
It appears you have something active in your site that interferes with CSVI. Most likely the vmVendor plugin.

if possible, I would like to use 5.21. It works good, except of the cron job issue.
I checked your original post again and I see that the file it is looking for seems to be missing in your installation.

No such file or directory in <b>/homepages/42/d152310404/htdocs/J34_VM3/libraries/import.legacy.php
This file is part of Joomla 3.4.3 so you should have it. Better check if your installation is complete.

Just a note, there will be no more releases of CSVI 5.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Rolandd,

I don't have the vmVendor plugin installed.
I just have: Joomla, Virtuemart, OnePageCheckout from rupostel and custom filters from breakdesigns.
This is a clean installation and is used for testing purposes.
Unfortunately CSVI 6.0.1 is not running.

Regarding the cron job error I have:
the file "homepages/42/d152310404/htdocs/J34_VM3/libraries/import.legacy.php" exists. The problem is on line 42: "require_once JPATH_PLATFORM . '/platform.php';" (see first post).

what can we do?

Thanks

Check if your installation is not missing any files.

Hi RolandD,

thanks for your replay. All file were available.
The problem was that my provider has changed the cronjob execution string.

Unfortunately, CSVI 6 is still not running.
But the cronjob problem is solved.

Thanks for your support.

Best

Hello Pantaley,

Good to hear the cronjob is running. As for your CSVI 6 issues, really odd. I still believe there is something interfering with the AJAX call or something is not setup right. You can follow the Using Firebug to analyze import problems tutorial to see what is happening in the background. With this information we should be able to get a better idea of what is happening. Having the actual JSON string will help to see what is interfering with it.
Kind regards,

RolandD
