Resolved Creating custom DB columns?

Hello,

If I create a new custom column in virtuemart_products database table. Let's call it "my_notes";
If I include a CSV column by the same name, will it populate the database column I created (during import)?

(Reason: We want to store custom info+metadata in our products, for internal management purposes)

Hello,

As long as you make sure to update the list of available fields, you can import and export that field.
