Hi,
How can I create a bundleproduct on import of J2Commerce products?
I can add the products to an existing bundle product like here:
https://rolandd.com/support/ro-csvi/import-j2store-bundle-products

But it seems it has to be an existing bundle product.
How can I import bundleproducts?

My file looks like in the attachement.
The simple products are created, but not the bundles.

Thanks
Sigrid

Hello Sigrid,
The bundle settings are correct in the product, but the variant is not there.

Debug log looks fine from the looks of it. I see bundled products are updated in both products and variants table. As per debug log variant already exists and bundled products are updated to variant. Can you explain on what you mean by variant not there? Please include few screenshots to understand the issue. Also post import file to check.

UPDATE `t2cap_j2store_variants` SET `product_id`='288',`is_master`='0',`sku`='600-105',`upc`='',`price`='35.00000',`pricing_calculator`='standard',`shipping`='0',`params`='{"product_css_class":"","bundleproduct":{"1":{"product_name":"ibw Bürokaufmann/-frau Download Musterprüfung (sku: 600-005d)","product_id":248},"2":{"product_name":"E-Book - ibw Bürokaufmann/-frau Skriptum (sku: 600-105s)","product_id":221}}}',`length`='0.00000',`width`='0.00000',`height`='0.00000',`length_class_id`='0',`weight`='0.00000',`weight_class_id`='0',`created_on`='2025-12-15 10:15:23',`created_by`='190',`manage_stock`='0',`quantity_restriction`='0',`min_sale_qty`='0.00000',`use_store_config_min_sale_qty`='0',`max_sale_qty`='0.00000',`use_store_config_max_sale_qty`='0',`notify_qty`='0.00000',`use_store_config_notify_qty`='0',`availability`='0',`allow_backorder`='0',`isdefault_variant`='0' WHERE `j2store_variant_id` = '284'

I have a patch installed for the usergroup import.
Does this interfere?

I don't think this will interfere. Also there is nothing related to usergroup in debug log.

How can I see which patches are installed?

There is no option to list installed patch files. But you can check the patch files installed from RO CSVI logs page. In the filter select RO CSVI Maintenance and it will list out all maintenance task including patches. That is from 25 log entries which is kept by default.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi,

I am using this bundle import. It has worked about 2-3 weeks ago, but now, when I import the bundles as variants, the variants are deleted.
The bundle settings are correct in the product, but the variant is not there.
So the products don't show up in the frontend.
Only after I manually open and save a product in the backend, then the variant seems to be created and the product is shown in the frontend.

I have a patch installed for the usergroup import.
Does this interfere?

How can I see which patches are installed?

I attached the log.
Thanks
Sigrid

this works now.
Thanks
I had to import the product as bundle products first. And in a second import for variants, I set the bundle product ids.

Hi Sigrid,
Yes I tested with that plugin. Can you post import debug log and also import file? I will run import with your file and check. To get the debug log read How to collect debug information? document.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Sigrid,
In J2Store Product import template on Options tab set Create product for existing article to Yes, save the template and run the import. This setting will add products to existing articles. Let me know if that helps.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

The Joomla articles are already there.
I want to update them to become a J2Commerce product bundle.

If that does not work, I could also create the Joomla articles on import.
