Hello!

Small question: I created a template to import data to some Joomla tables (Operation: custom table).
Turns out I need some of the data (exact same values) in an other Joomla table, too. I wonder if it is possible to copy values to a second table within the same import template.
Of course I can create a different import template, however it would be convenient to have a copy rule like
import to tableA.field1 and copy same value to tableB.field5.

Is this possible? What do you think about that?

Thanks a lot!
Chris

Hello Chris,

As of now it is not possible to copy values to another table in custom table import. We support import to one Joomla table with custom table import.

Of course I can create a different import template, however it would be convenient to have a copy rule like
import to tableA.field1 and copy same value to tableB.field5.

Yes having a different import template is the only solution.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
