Hi all,

I'm working with comprofiler (including CBSubs) and need to import a bulk update to existing users.

Does anyone having experience with that?

I've already created a templatetype for it, but have no clue if it would work either.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hey Stefan,

I have no experience with that, I only know that both Comprofiler and CBSubs are not natively supported by CSVI.

The only option you can use is the Custom tables import and export option. Is that the template you created?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Roland,

thanks for the hint

No what I meant was something different in english it is under Tasks. I have initiatet it with german translation file which is .... not really good....

But I just realized that it doesn't make sense for me. I think it would be better writing some kind of plugin that fully integrates into CSVi structure to handle this.

Respectivly to use the default Custom Table procedure as described under the link.

Kind regrads,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,

Aha, I see what you mean now with the Tasks. The Tasks would be a possibility but it would mean quite some core changes too to implement support for another extension.

I think it would be better writing some kind of plugin that fully integrates into CSVi structure to handle this.
This is possible with CSVI 6 (unreleased and under development) already. If you are planning on writing your own plugin/support for Comprofiler feel free to contact me if you want to do so with CSVI 6.

As mentioned before, there is the custom table import/export but it is a dumb import/export.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Roland,

at the moment I have not enough time to develop something myself. However a Plugin for Community Builder would be at least in my point of view a good thing.

Meanwhile I managed to run the import using the common import.

Thanks,
Stefan
