Resolved Components Menu full of CSVI Menu Items after click on Fix Menu button

Hello,
For some reason parent_id column in database table for CSVI menu items are messed up and so you are seeing them integrated with components menu. Do you have backup of your database tables? if you have then try replacing #__menu table. That is one way to solve the issue.

The second way is replacing parent_id for CSVI menu items manually in #__menu table. To do that find the id of menu title COM_CSVI in #__menu table and put this id in parent_id field for other menu item titles starting with 'COM_CSVI_' like for example COM_CSVI_DASHBOARD,COM_CSVI_LOGS.

I'm working on a safe copy of the site, so no problem. I have a copy too.
Can you replicate the problem that I have posted?
Is only a my problem or is a bug that you can fix in an update?
I can wait to update to v7 and use v6 for now.

So are duplicated. Is your hint valid in this situation?

No, i was not able to replicate the problem but could find out the cause for the issue and posted the solution.

This could be because of broken menu table. Can you send me a private message with mysql dump of your #__menu table? I will check it here.

Yes, CSVI menu items are duplicated. My solution is not needed in this case, you can remove the duplicate rows of CSVI menu items from #__menu table which don't have proper parent_id values.

I don't know how send you a private, but I think that this menu table is not so interesting.
But If you think is better not link it in this message delete the message please.
I've tryed to use "confidential" tag, but I don't know if is usefull.

I've seen in the table the duplicated menu item, the different parent_id, and the level set to 2 or 1.

The last 8 rows where parent_id is 1 and level is 1 you can delete them so the CSVI menu items gets removed from components menu.
