Hi,
this is a very urgent issue as we have a load of users with passwords using the wrong encryption.

If I create a csv containing just email and password, it will not import

in debug it shows:

2014-04-25 12:30:35 1 [QUERY] SELECT id FROM `o4on9_users` WHERE `email`='jbennett@kieranryan.ie'
2014-04-25 12:30:35 2 [DEBUG] Use field value
2014-04-25 12:30:35 2 [DEBUG] Use field value
2014-04-25 12:30:35 2 [DEBUG] Process line 2
2014-04-25 12:30:35 2 [DEBUG] Use field value
2014-04-25 12:30:35 2 [DEBUG] Finding user ID

and in log it shows
2 Incorrect Failure No Joomla user group name found

how do I fix this I have to reset 400 passwords

thanks

Hey Tony,

As the log specifies, the Joomla user group is also needed. Instead of adding this to your CSV file you can do the following.

If your users are in different kinds of groups, you cannot use this and you must set the user groupname in your CSV file

In your template, add the fields email, password and usergroup_name. Set the default value of the usergroup_name field to the name of the group these users are in. The email field should be first in your file and the password second. If not, adjust the order in the template.

On the File tab set the option, Use columnheaders as configuration to No to make sure CSVI uses the template fields you just added.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,

RolandD
