Hello,
I exported the list of K2 categories from a J3 website and want to import in brand new and empty J4 website.
You'll find the export attached.
In J4 I modified the Example Joomla Category Import to match fields, here's the list of fields ;
- title
- alias
- category_path
- description
- published
I ran the template, obtained that info :
Processed : 81
Filename : CSVI_Example K2 Category Export_7-02-2023_09.54.csv
Debug log : No debug log found
But there is no visible category in the category manager, except "uncategorized".
Where is my mistake ?

Hello,
Thank you for posting the debug log. In import template settings on File tab set Use file for configuration field to No, save the template and run the import. This setting will use template fields as available field instead of column headers from import file. Run import and check if it goes without any error.

Hi Tharuna,
Thanks for your answer.
I added the template field extension with default value com_content, but it returns the same error in log.
"Missing one or more of the required fields. The category import requires at least these 2 fields: category_path and extension. Check your file and/or template settings if these fields are included. "
Here is my fields list:
https://nimb.ws/5K4BEf
And the extension field settings:
https://nimb.ws/MES8Ce
Curious?

Hello,
There is an error on import with your file. You could see this error message when you enable debug log in import template. To enable debug log check How to collect debug information? document. The error says that you are missing needed fields. You have category_path field but not extension. Since you are importing to Joomla categories, add extension template field and set default value to com_content. Run the import and check and If you still have problem post the latest debug log to check.
