Resolved Breakdesign Product Builder fields import / export

G'day,

I'm using the CSVI Pro software for more than a year now and I really think it's absolutely awesome! For what I used to use it for which includes importing my Excell product and category files into Virtuemart.

Recently I purchased the Breakdesign Pro software packages as I needed the product builder software to let customers assemble their own combinations of my selection of Virtuemart products.

CSVI Pro version: 6.5.3
Virtuemart version: 3.0.12
Breakdesign Product Builder version: 3.0.8

The software works great (with a few core files modifications ;) ) but I can't find the CSVI import addon for the fields...
What I would love to do is import tags from an Excel file (or whatever file) and import them into my PC-Builder software. I know this is 3rd party software but as CSVI supports the other Breakdesign modules (CustomFilters, Custom Filters for All, Stockable Custom Fields) I have tried these as I was like: Maybe the tag field is hidden in one of these as it is some sort of filter maybe but no...

So in the SQL database these are the tables "pb_tags" and "pb_tag_xref_vmprod" I believe.

I hope someone can help me out as I have to assign multiple tags to hundreds of products.
And I really hope, if not there already but I'm overlooking the function, that there can be a Product Builder (Breakdesign) CSVI Pro addon :)

Glad to hear you are liking CSVI :)

You mean CSVI or Product Builder? In case the answer is CSVI, which core hacks did you make?

The reason you can't find a CSVI Import addon for Product Builder is because we didn't build one. All I can promise is that I will look into this and see what can be done.

Hi Roland, thanks for the quick reply!

I've edited some files of the Product Builder component.
For example a php if function (strpos), because I wanted content underneath my group names, so it compares the group name with my string and if value=true it adds whatever I wanted to add. Bit of a workaround maybe but an easy fix for now (I just have to watch updates ;) )
I also had to edit the thumbnail sizes of pictures as they were wrong (200x200px), there is an option in their menu, option panel etc. but nothing happened so I just added the relevant classes to my css with an !important flag

Ok that's good to hear, in like at least I'm not looking in the wrong places then, looking forward to an upcoming Product Builder addon :D That would be awesome!
