The patch mentioned, has it been applied to the newest version of CSVI?

Where it has worked before I now find that no imports or exports work for virtuemart.

Using PHP 7.0.24, joomla 3.8.1, CSVI 7.3, Virtuemart add on 7.3, VM 3.2.4.

I have cleared cache, tested default templates for order export and not all data appears.

As for import, 1 product import has now taken 1216 in server response time with no end in sight.

Not sure which exports or imports don't work for you but the patch mentioned in this post is for order export and has been included in CSVI VirtueMart addon 7.3.1 version. You can find this version of extension in CSVI Downloads page and in CSVI Pro extensions section.

As for import, 1 product import has now taken 1216 in server response time with no end in sight.

Have a look at Manage timeout document which will help you with import time out problem.

No! Problem still exists, on both import and export within virtuemart... Just saying that my limits are not the issue as I run my own servers and that your solution has already been considered. But thank you for your help :)

So from what I understand, nothing imports or exports, is that correct?

1216 in server response
The server reports error 1216? I have never seen this error number.

A more detailed explanation of "it doesn't work" would help as well. For example the debug log of a small test import file.

1216 was the amount of time it had reached before we cancelled the test import, it was for one line only. Imports have not worked since 3.8.1 joomla upgrade.

I am considering uninstalling and reinstalling in case it didn't upgrade properly.

I see, that will tell us then that there is some error some where and most likely it is written in the AJAX response. Have a look at the analyze documents and pick the first or second one depending on which browser you use. Post your findings here and let's see what that says.
